With an already great magazine, website and online news service, AMANA Media Initiative has decided to branch out into new media and technology. In the next few months we are hoping to bring you a range of new resources to the AMANA website including good resources, videos?, blogs and other websites which the AMANA community might like to use. This blog is to tell you about the process of expanding and highlight the best bits about what the media project is doing.
Part of this bold new experiment is to blog about AMANA and what we are doing behind the scenes. Some of you may have met us in person, some of you may know nothing about us at all.
Amana Media Initiative is tucked away in a modest office in the Asian Resource Foundation, in Nonthaburi, Bangkok. At the moment, we have an editor (me) and an editorial assistant, Fariya. You can learn more (and see us) here.
Coming up on the AMANA blog: Editor’s pick from the last edition and the website. Also – our intrepid editorial assistant Fariya is away at a peace conference at the moment, so she will hopefully tell us all about it when she returns.
Please stay in touch and let us know what you think about these changes, what you would like to see more of, and any other comments you might have.
